i had a few of the space quest games .. in my early computer days.
i always found them to be pretty funny!!
all those sierra games had a similar art style and humor to them.
Classic!

Thanks Matt! There's one more lil update coming soon, the spectrum analyzer will get a simple spot at the top of the page. I played a lot of Commander Keen when I was young haha, nice one! When we were planning that BitQuest section I asked for pixel art that was reminiscent of old computer games like Hero's Quest and Space Quest and I think Bryan and his crew really nailed it, it's my favourite part of the site for sure.

Yes! This series is so special! Especially the first 3 games with the text parser, those are my favourites of the Sierra games. the ones where you had to type in all the stuff you want to do.. that era of gaming is my favourite. And also Dark Souls/Demon's Souls, that era too. *smile*

Buddy, in a word, yes! They're a lot like old Red Dwarf or Hitchhiker's Guide stuff, very sarcastic and silly while being awesome sci-fi and space adventures.. super funny really, super cool music and graphics (if you're into that EGA era of games which I am bigtime). The oldest of the series are text based, you have to type all the commands in, then the latter games like 4 to 6 are point and click adventures, no more typing.

Sierra is a really neat company, they were a husband and wife team named Ken and Roberta Williams, she would think up the games and the stories and he would do the programming and music. They'd shop the games around to computer shops in California in ziploc baggies and they totally redefined the nature of computer games at the time, making some of the most special computer games ever. Geez I love Sierra On-Line, they were so cool! They also did awesome series like Quest for Glory, King's Quest, and Police Quest.

You can watch people play all of them on YouTube, people still do walk-throughs of those old games currently.. they're still awesome!

I had to get rid of a couple things to make room for the new things and the Cleanness was just a run of 100, all gone now and I'm not going to make more, so it had to go. The Cosmi was a run of 500 and it's nearly done, I have about 50 blem boxes that I'm going to get Adam to refinish and laser etch and then I'll have about 30 blems of the zombies and planets available for people. And that'll be it for the Cosmi v3, I'm going to take a break from it for awhile and make the Heisenberg and spectrum analyzer. I think I'll do a Cosmi v4 one day.. chorus and flanger, mono in/out, digital control over the same analog signal path, change it up a little bit, maybe 2016 or something.

Wait, hey, does that mean there are going to be some limited edition laser etched Cosmi V3s around, or am I misunderstanding that?

I loves me some Cosmi V3, and I loves me some limited ILF versions of DrS pedals. So I'd REALLY loves me a limited V3!

If I'm reading that right, then I wanna get in on that!

Lasers, quantum clipping, planets, zombies. Ryan, I like where you take pedals.

Yes....yes it will be. :) We have a graphic we've had ready for about 2 years now for this. LOL. I'm going to have Excane redo it a bit for the laser. You guys will like it.
