Is it weird that I was pinching my nipples while looking at that picture?

It would be more weird if you weren't pinching them.

This is advertised as 'medium' gain. When maxed out, how does it compare to, say, The Elements when that pedal's gain is dimed?

Although I haven't played one (yet!!!), I've been following closely. It definitely won't have nearly as much gain as the Elements. The Elements has so much gain on tap it gets into fuzz territory. It's hard to find any OD with as much gain as the Elements!

Thanks, CC, that's what I was anticipating. I was wondering if Nick was holding back in the Justnick demo, but it seems not.

It wouldn't make sense if it overlapped with the elements. And even though it (elements) is an ass-kicking od (I have one set as an od) I think it's perhaps most known for teh brutes. So I think the overdrive is a good way to show off the character of the clipping and fill a niche in the market.

And you can always give it a bootfull by running an elements or a cleanness into it :D

Per the Justnick demo, the pedal itself appears to be, as you say, "a good way to show off the clipping" of the new nanotech. Whatever, I'm interested.
