Nice find, Josh, I don't think I put that in the forum did I... pretty cool for a couple buttheads like us to be in a Canadian business magazine! *smile* And very cool that they used your demo video too hey!

Yeah we've been doing dark boxes lately.. got a new dark Reverberator too.. I think you're right though, next BitQuest should be colourful! We're cooking up a UFO theme for the next one...

blakestree wrote:What about a nice green dragon for the lil' guy to fight?

I had a dragon idea too! A pixel-art dragon... there's such a small amount of room on the box for art that we couldn't really come up with a cool plan.. I'm still into it though!

Clean Channel wrote:I'm all for colorful BitQuests! Someone out there got the bright idea to ask Ryan for Skittles knobs during the preorder, and when I saw the result, I had them put on my BQ too. All those colors just seem appropriate for such a feature-packed pedal.

I still love my BitQuest as much as the day I got it. Such a brilliantly designed pedal!

Thanks Tim! What a board! Very interesting pedal I see on there, I'm gonna have to ask you about that one..

Me too! I always regret not keeping a special etched box for myself!

Hey Kevin! You ever use the BitQuest on any Near Grey stuff? Just curious, big fan of your music.

Should be totally fine on any outlet at 9V, I never hear of people having any problems with BQs and PP2s. Thanks for checking in!

Ciao Guys!
I have been playing my bitquest for a couple of months and I love it!
I saw it has a trim pot in the inside, does it refer to the volume of the dirty side?? I love it but it is extremely loud!!!

You know Ctrl 0 is the gain for the dirt, right?

Welcome to ILF, Ric! That pcb trimpot is a throwback to when the BitQuest was just gonna be a fuzz pedal.. it's a bass eq for the fuzz signal. The volume and gain knobs both affect the fuzz signal level but remember that with great gain comes great volume, they go hand in hand.

Thanks for picking up a BQ, buddy!

Oh, that's cool, does it still work and if so does it only work on the dirty quest?

Sorry for the slow reply, Tristan! That trimpot was only on the first 50ish pcbs, then I took it outta there. It only worked on the dirty side, post gain bass cut/boost like in the Frazz and Elements. I've always thought it was unnecessary anyway as I think the digital fuzz is tuned well, it doesn't cut bass or boost it, just nice and full sounding.
