That bass tone is awesome! It's what Megadeth would use if they weren't so busy being crap again.

Yea I've spent quite a few practices dialing in a tone that meshes well with guitars in the band. I can't wait to get the bitquest in to start incorporating other sounds into my bass tone. It's funny the guitar players are super guitar ---> amp guys and here I am with more pedals than both of them on my little board. They don't even run tuners...headstock tuners for both of them, they make up for it by being awesome at guitar.

recorded two quick things this afternoon, first is some riff+arpeggio stuff w pitch shift. i throw a dirge ssstampede in at one point and it gets p clipped but i'll be damned if the pitch shift isn't amazing with dirt. real fucking champs style minus two guitars. other is an ILFDD into the bitquest's delay with some Ctrl 0 wiggling. EDIT these aren't showing up for me but the URLs are there if you quote

All bass sounds are with elements into rusty box. These are the first 3 songs from our first album.

So I FINALLY got around to making a BitQuest demo. It's a short one, covering the sounds of the bitcrusher mode when used for a "fuzz" sound in the clean mode, so the fuzz heard is different from the pedal's awesome build in distortion. Hope you like it!

And the old Cosmi demo

Not a true demo, but here's the Bitquest on our new ep. It fades in and you can really start hearing around the 9:40 mark. That's my bass solo'd with the Darkglass VMT & Fuzzrocious Demon into the Bitquest reverb clean side set completely wet with a little modulation. Enjoy.

Thanks again Ryan. I love this thing.

Holy flaming crap cakes!! Is that tone even legal? Does it have to be behind a curtain like those video stores of old with the adult movie section???
