Love it, Ian, totally awesome! I love playing this kinda stuff too, maybe the most fun you can have on a guitar amirite! Awesome break-down part, sounds killer.

That bass tone is awesome! It's what Megadeth would use if they weren't so busy being crap again.

Yea I've spent quite a few practices dialing in a tone that meshes well with guitars in the band. I can't wait to get the bitquest in to start incorporating other sounds into my bass tone. It's funny the guitar players are super guitar ---> amp guys and here I am with more pedals than both of them on my little board. They don't even run tuners...headstock tuners for both of them, they make up for it by being awesome at guitar.

recorded two quick things this afternoon, first is some riff+arpeggio stuff w pitch shift. i throw a dirge ssstampede in at one point and it gets p clipped but i'll be damned if the pitch shift isn't amazing with dirt. real fucking champs style minus two guitars. other is an ILFDD into the bitquest's delay with some Ctrl 0 wiggling. EDIT these aren't showing up for me but the URLs are there if you quote
