So I did this thing with my AB-Synth...

Postby nad » Thu Dec 24, 2009 3:55 am

Not long ago, I found out about these pedals and promptly ordered one, what with me in need of a real controllable noisemaker and all. A few weeks later I made this:

The Wold and The Whale - Denotation XLII

There are four bass tracks present, three of which feature the AB-Synth in its lovely oscillating mode. The fourth track is a ring modulator, and I think everything had a delay after it. Because I love delay.

So yes, I like this pedal. I like this pedal a lot. Thanks. :joy:

Sounds incredibly awesome and quite doomy. Does yours have the bass mod? I might have to get one for may bass rig....

Thanks, and yes, this one is with the bass mod. Lots of fun with various basses, each one reacts a little differently. I was jamming with some dudes a few weeks ago and this pedal came in handy for a nice freakout experiment we had.

I had mine in oscillation mode yesterday, and I felt like I was playing a duet. I would play, then it would oscillate something close to an arpeggio, and I would follow it's "lead" for a while, then it would jump in with it's tune, and I would follow. It was like a living presence.

Amazing pedal, Tom!

That is fucking sweet! Definitely end-of-the-world-y... and definitely bringing the AB-Synth onto my GAS list...
