i cant wait for you to get yours.

i just had a thought... if you guys like them and.. i dont know, want to tell people about how awesome it is, how cool it sounds and how sexy it looks... maybe they will want to buy one?

the low price is for members of ilf only of course but ... you know. its a steal at twice the price!

not only is the attraction good for tom, its good for the forum. i know im still pretty much a n00b but i think there should be a lot more people on here. this place is awesome! ilyilf

Thanks for the reply...I could tell it was quite a different beast, but it helps to have a reference point.

Hm..just might have to do this. Maybe in a few hours when I get a break.

MM's review doesn't help

I can't swing it right now...I just bought a mangler and an AF2 flanger, I agreed to buy a goose fuzz and the WIIO list is coming soon.
I'll have to order one further down the line (perhaps with an absynth as a christmas present to myself :p)

Morningstaru;
Sadly I don’t have an AB-Synth or Algal Bloom to compare.

Just got mine!!!

After noodling for about 15 minutes, I'll offer these tidshits-

Nice warm overdrive, which may replace my tendency to use my amp's overdrive.
Scorching distortion with a backhanded slap of fuzz, so you're sure to remember what's important.
Splattery (as it has been put) swelling, gnarly, lo-fi, electrocution reminiscent of a catfight through a gainy distortion pedal.

So far everything I've ordered from Fuzzhugger (fx) gets my Velcro of approval!!!
EH Big Muff Pi, Zvex Mastotron, ProCo Rat, Devi Ever Spectacular Aenima, Fuzzhugger/Mellowtone Wolf Computer, ILF Arc Flash, AlgRoar (Custom), Phantom Octave, MXR Blue Box, Phase 90, Carbon Copy Delay, El Grande Bass Fuzz, Radial Tonebone Plexitube, Ohnoho Chk Chk Boom, Mojo Hand Sugar Baby

Need more fuzz!

absolutely!

i figure anyone debating it should just order it, its a STEAL for the price, if you ordered just the parts + shipping for the pedal im sure youd end up close to the price he was selling it for.

and if you havent had a FH pedal - tom is a master craftsman even if he wont admit it. i popped mine open and it was incredibly tidy/clean. all the parts are perfectly placed (drilled, you know what i mean). its just about like getting the pedal built for free. annnnd it had free shipping didnt it? thats just crazy to me.

and one thing i want to note to anyone who got one of these (has, or has it coming) - try it with all your guitars and amps. i have used the same guitar on different amps / different guitars on the same amp and it sounds like a completely different pedal... try rolling your volume back and it gives you a new sound... on one of my amps it sounds pretty chunky/sorta fuzzy gritty on another it sounds like amazing OD that is really crisp, has a unique tone but its insanely usable. i cant stress how much you can do with this if you just try different things.

sorry for the long post. once i get going i cant stop.

anyways. i hope everyone loves the pedal. and if not, im sure there will be a lot of regretful formites who would take it off your hands.

for those who missed out...

Anyone wanna give me a quick tip on how to solder a battery jack in this little box of hotness? I can't find a powersource this weekend and I'm desperate! I know I'm kind of breaking the enviromental code of the pedal, but I promise to compensate by taking the bus for a few days if someone could help me with this.

thanks
