Got DoomBloom #5 today.
http://www.fuzzhugger.com/pedal-doom-bloom.html
Came at a perfect time as I have the whole day/night to myself to knob twist and riff out.
Here are my early thoughts. I'll come back later to do a proper review and demo.
So far, I am really liking the control scheme and layout. It is dripping with style: beyond, of course the necromantically altered art deco graphic, there is a black circle of doom for the controls and double red doom leds that are sunk into the pedal surface with a film overtop to dim the leds. Fuck yes! I wish all my pedal's LEDs were dimmed and flush like this!
As for sounds, I have to spend a lot more time with it, but I am finding it to work well going into a dirty amp tone - even high gain with the right settings. It can get splatty in an organic way - still trying to dial the splat in right. Oh yeah, it likes humbuckers. I usually stick with a neck P90 on Fuzz tones, but I am digging my bridge HB when I feed it into the metal amp tone.
Versatile and dripping with style = win
