holy crap this thing is epic
it can get hype-ish tones, like when you have the hype fully cranked
i have it running right now somewhere between a WC and an AE,

the added footswitch i havent found too much use for yet, but i only played with it for 20mins and most of the time i was coaxing weirdo sounds out of the osc. mode
im not sure which knob was the one you added Tom, they all seem kinda essential to me

First of all, that's awesome to hear!!! :omg: Thanks!!

The added knob on yours is the one all the way to the right...the Master Gain (as opposed to the Fuzz/Gain). On the standard AB-Synth, you can lower how overdriven it is, and lower the gain by way of the Texture knob, but the 5th knob on yours acts as a sort of Master Gain.

hm....in trying to figure out which was the added one i thought it was the one in the middle, i cant imagine this thing without the master gain
it adds so much variety to everything, then the two other knobs which im calling tonezone and toneztoo act like the sag and bias on the WC and the master gain reminds me more of the gain knob on the PU2 than any other gain knob ive seen, its straight up gain not gain/shape

tom you've a masterpiece here, i encourage everyone to get one

Where's his handgun. You can't properly produce records without guns.

This Algal Bloom just showed up in my mailbox Friday... gorgeous! With a pretty little pale-blue LED
And yes... all top jacks!

Sounds amazing and is really something special... thanks Tom! The pic below shows my current fave settings that are a good 'balanced' fuzz for me.
