So!

The Shitari is not going into production...can't build enough to stock it, I don't have a drop-in PCB for it...but I'm getting tons of requests for one! I can take 2 to 3 special-orders per month.

Here's a vid of me handling the pedal and talking awkwardly about it.

So I got mine...and I have to say, when you dial the low/hi gen back considerably, it behaves quite nicely. You can cop some good sustain before the note swells into a glitch. But behaving too often is for suckers, so I really love what this does when the 2nd oscillator is engaged. It does a hiccupy, sputter kinda like a trem with a dying battery. Also, with the high gen. set a certain way (escapes me atm, but to guess...2 o'clock), and the lower middle knob at noon, you can introduce some upper-register sympathetic drones. I love mine immensely, but I'm still kinda learning it  And those are the types of pedals I like the most!

I messed with the Shitari knobs and then sampled some loops on the Flashback... All live one take, I could play this guy for days... Tom is a Wildman, thanks Bloo...

Love that improvisation at the beginning!
Also, I'm too lazy to look up the time, but a little past half-way, there's some great use of the random tone blips!

Aww, man-I gotta give this stuff a listen when I get home this evening. Soni-glad you're digging the Trip Synth. Glad I was able to reunite with the pedal I never should have traded to the Carrot in the first place! The STS is really, really sick'nin'. If not for REALLY bad Velcroar Oscillator GAS, I would have kept it forever and ever.
