Great Wall RBT.

Postby FuzzHugger » Wed May 09, 2012 10:47 pm

PRYMAXE has the Great Wall RBT.

The Great Wall has been evolving almost since FuzzHugger(fx) began...its evolution continued with the limited run of Fuzz Hugers (40 made). Everything learned from its previous iterations has brought us to this.

NEW FEATURES:
• Radio-frequency protection.
• New Mode Toggle with diode switching.
• Bypassable Bass and Treble controls with built-in diode switching.
• New clipping arrangement in Tone-On Mode.
• New MIDS Toggle for Tone circuit--scooped or boosted mids!
• No more volume drop with Tone engaged!

CONTROLS:
• Push - Gain & fuzz. The last turn of the Push knob adds compression and a more pronounced texture/fuzz. Functions differently with both Diode Toggle modes.
• Diode Toggle - Switch between silicon and LED clipping, standard or a hotter-yet-clearer mode. (Works with Tone controls on or off.)
• Tone Toggle - Activates Bass/Treble/Mids controls, and simultaneously switches the second diode stage for a change in tone and more headroom.
• Treble
• Bass
• Mids Toggle - Down = scooped mids, Up = more mids.
• Level - Level.

Very small numbers IN STOCK at Prymaxe Vintage in NJ!
Demo coming shortly. Imagine the Great Wall / Huger on steroids.

SWEET MOTHERFUZZER!!!!!

Could I get one, running in parallel with an Upper, with a switchable Phantom Arcade in the loop? That'd be great, thanks!

I kid, I kid. Seriously, how much will these beasties be running, cost-wise?
I'm more like a mids-ist than a bassist.

Those were the last of the original-spec'd Great Walls. (The Great Wall RBT is very different from all previous GW versions, from clipping arrangements to the vastly different tone circuit.)

I had no plans for a new version...but a year+ out of production gave me some perspective. And for getting that last Great Wall, you can take 20% off your next direct-ordered FuzzHugger Effects pedal.
