The Wave knob is the same on my Copilot Broadcast. It was slightly irritating at first, but you get used to it in no time. If you want to know which waveforms can be selected, simply have a look at other Copilot pedals that have wave symbols for this knob (that would destroy the awesome graphics in this case):
