SO LONG FOR NOW

Postby aens_wife » Fri Apr 17, 2020 1:17 pm

We have some big news. Both Ben and I (Louise) have had some incredible opportunities come up in the last few weeks/months. Ben is back in school for art and I just landed my dream job. We have been doing the pedal thing for so many years but it is time to take a break to try something new. This happens to be good timing due to the pandemic but it is something we have been working on for over six months.

We want to thank you all for the last 13 years. It has been a dream. We have met some of our musical heroes and some of our very favorite people (YOU GUYS KNOW WHO YOU ARE!). We need a break and some new perspective. Between our creative projects, our teenagers, and our new opportunities, we are so excited for the next stage.

Since we are all on lockdown, we won’t have a last day or anything concrete. We will continue to repair pedals under warranty for the next few months so send an email if you need anything. Our website will stay up and the email addresses will stay active so we aren’t disappearing. We aren’t even sure this will be permanent. For now, it is a hiatus for the next several months.

We will have one more batch of Grazers and one more VERY special batch of Eau Claire Thunders. We have very few pedals left at the moment (we have been planning for this for a while so our stock is purposely low), so if you want something, buy it now.

I'm so happy for you both! You've been outstanding pillars in our little community and you've made my musical life all the fuzzier and noisier. There'll always be a dwarfcraft shape hole in my board and heart.

Congratulations to both of you! And thanks for all of the years you’ve spent fueling our little corner of crazy.

Please don’t be strangers around here.

You're going to have fun on your new adventures. Thanks for your contributions to the board and our non-internet lives as well.

....have you decided on color(s) for the last Grazer batch? I've already got 3, but I'd probably take another.

The next batch of grazers is white. I won't have time to build them all before I start my new job so they will trickle out over the next few months as we have time to built them.

Said it all across different platforms already but will say it again on here, as this is where I first encountered you guys. Thank you so much for your creations and inspiration both as pedal builders and people. Happy for you guys and your new adventure! Again, thank you.

I'm both bummed and happy, yDwarfcraft probably got me into heavier music more than anything else, and helped me discover this great community, I'm glad y'all are gonna be doing great things still

Hey congrats and good luck for everything, The Great Destroyer was the pedal that introduced me to the weird world fuzzes, so thanks for that!

Congrats and thanks for the memories. I was so scared this was bad news when I first heard so I'm really glad you guys are moving on to exciting new things!

I didn't manage to buy one of the ECTs though
