you can get some really cool stuff to happen if you use it at a really fast rate with delay after it, especially if the delay is not completely symmetrical, running into crazy fuzz of whatever you like. used this a bunch on our last album, sounds like helicopter blades that are about to crash and burn. I love using it slow like you already mentioned too. Those were the two ways that i found it the most useful for myself in my recording situation
